So far we have been blessed with a very mild winter (or so we would consider it to be mild!) here in Spain. The evenings are cold but the daytime highs average between 55 to 65 which is just perfect. We have been able to spend a lot of time outside enjoying the weather here and appreciating that it is not 20 degrees, overcast, and snowing. According to the locals and to our friends who have been living here longer, this has been an abnormally cold and dry winter. Personally, we prefer the cool and dry to the overcast and wet weather. This past weekend the highs were close to 70 so we enjoyed some walks, touring the local gypsy market, lunch overlooking the water, and playing on the beach in Puerto Sherry - a neat little downtown area that is lined with restaurants and bars along the waterfront.
