Donkey Polo

Yes, you read it right, Donkey Polo: a fun-filled, and comfortable uncomfortable (due to the lack of a saddle), tradition here in Spain in which you ride on a donkey and play polo with a broom stick.  It is a good time had by all who play because you cannot help but laugh while you ride around on an ass (no pun intended) and swat at balls all while moving at about the speed of a turtle.

Per our friends, you cannot leave Spain without playing Donkey Polo at least once, so there was no debating when we received the invite.  While Lindsey watched and kept an eye on the kids, Mike, geared up for a good time and even scored once - for the wrong team!  In the end all were victorious because the kids had a chance to ride around on the donkey's for the final lap and this made the afternoon all the better.
